How does the free trial work?
Every new community starts with a 14-day free trial of the plan you pick. Your card isn't charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then in two clicks.
What counts as a "member"?
Anyone with a login in your community — council, owners, and tenants. On Basic, that's capped at 50; on Pro it's unlimited.
Do owners or tenants pay anything?
No. One subscription covers the whole community — every resident gets access at no cost to them.
Do you charge per unit or per door?
No. Pricing is flat per community, whatever its size. A 200-unit building pays the same as a 30-unit one on the same plan.
Can we switch plans or billing frequency later?
Yes — upgrades apply immediately, and downgrades or interval changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Per community, with volume pricing across your portfolio — plus white-label branding and setup handled by our team. Enterprise agreements run on annual contracts. Book a demo and we'll put together a quote.
Is our community's data secure?
Yes. EZ is cloud-hosted and encrypted, with role-based access down to the unit level — owners see their own community and their own unit, and nothing else.
Does EZ handle accounting or collect strata fees?
No — by design. EZ is the operations and communication layer; it pairs with whatever handles your books. That's a big part of why it costs $19–69 a month instead of an enterprise contract.
Can we export our data if we leave?
Yes — your documents and records are yours. Download your documents anytime, and we'll provide a full export of your community's records on request.
