Terms & Conditions

EZ provides community management software: communication, documents, maintenance tracking, bylaws and violations, forms and registries, and related tools. EZ is an operations and communication platform. It does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, fee collection, legal services, or regulatory filings, and records kept in EZ don’t replace any formal requirements your jurisdiction sets.

You’re responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the information you add. Access within a community is role-based; the community’s administrators control who is invited and what role they hold. You must be legally able to enter into these terms to hold an account.

Paid plans are billed per community, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on our pricing page. New communities start with a 14-day free trial; a card is taken at signup and isn’t charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then without being billed. Self-serve plans have no fixed-term contract: upgrades apply immediately, and downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Enterprise agreements are separate, run on annual contracts, and are governed by their own terms where they differ from these.

Your community’s documents and records are yours. You grant us the license needed to host, process, and display them in order to operate the service. You can download your documents anytime, and we’ll provide a full export of your community’s records on request. You’re responsible for having the right to upload the content you add and for how your community uses the platform’s tools, including notices and enforcement records.

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful content or activity, no attempts to access data you aren’t authorized to see, no interfering with the platform’s operation, and no using the service to harass others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Some features use AI to propose content for a person to review, such as document metadata, a structured bylaw registry from a PDF, or polished wording for notice particulars. You review and confirm AI proposals before they’re saved, and you’re responsible for the final content your community records and sends.

We work to keep the service available and improve it over time, and features may change as the product evolves. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZ isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms. On termination, the export commitments in “Your content” apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and communicate the change. Questions? Contact us.
